Dr. Fiano is a member of....

Dr. Fiano obtained her Bachelor of Science in psychology from

Emory University in 1988.  She then earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Florida in 1994 (Go Gators!).  She was licensed to practice psychology in the state of Georgia in 1995 and opened her own practice in 1997.  

By 2001, the practice grew to include two sites:  Atlanta and

Savannah.  By 2003, she made the decision to focus her efforts full time in Savannah/Chatham metro area.  

Dr. Fiano is currently the only ABPP certified neuropsychologist in the coastal Georgia area.

Clinicians who are board-certified in clinical neuropsychology have proven, through a rigorous evaluation, that they are fully competent.  In most states (including Georgia), any licensed psychologist can call themselves a neuropsychologist without actually having any specialized training in that area. Choosing a doctor who is board certified gives you peace of mind by assuring the provider is appropriately trained and competent in his or her field.  

Dr. Fiano is board certified through the largest board certification group in psychology, the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).  ABPP is the parent organization for the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology (ABCN).
